Proudly brought to you by the NSW Environment Protection Authority, Cool Compost is a one-stop online resource centre for existing and new customers of quality commercial compost.

Through a series of videos, podcasts, fact sheets and specifications Cool Compost showcases the benefits of compost across five target audiences – graziers, vegetable growers, landscapers, councils and government agencies.

By using compost and returning this nutrient-rich resource back to our soil, organisations, businesses and individuals can play their part in diverting waste from landfill – all while driving the circular economy and creating a more sustainable future.

Cool Compost builds on the success and innovation of the EPA’s $7.5 million Organics Market Development grants program, which aimed to create strong markets for the increasing supply of compost made from kerbside food and garden waste (FOGO).

The grants funded 38 ground-breaking projects demonstrating the benefits of compost across a range of industries and uses including sporting fields, mine and roadside rehabilitation, urban amenity, agriculture and horticulture.
